Last Thursday, the McDonald’s All-American teams were finally announced for the 34^th annual McDonald’s All-American Game.

It was announced late last night that junior guard Korie Lucious, 21, was dismissed from the team for the remainder of the season.

Lucious, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was dismissed from the team by Tom Izzo for “conduct detrimental to the team.”  It was confirmed by Andy Katz of ESPN, however, that the situation has no involvement with any legal issues off the court.

This year’s version of the Big 12 is not unlike last year’s. Top teams Kansas State, Kansas and Baylor appear poised to once again maintain their holds on the top spots in the conference. Texas and Missouri have reloaded and will push the top dogs for spots one through five.

While the bottom half of the league is noticeably weaker don’t be surprised to see Texas A&M, Colorado or even Texas Tech knocking at the NCAA selection committee’s door. Overall, seven teams headed to March Madness ...
