This week in the NBA we saw a couple rookies actually get a chance to show their talents:

We saw Clippers' rookie Eric Bledsoe live up to the hype and have a couple monster games, while stepping out of the shadow of Baron Davis.

The 2010 NBA rookie class has never had so much buzz about it since the 2003 NBA draft, this is the season in which it showcases two number one picks that are both game changing players.

In one conference we have the sensational high flying act of Blake Griffin, the number one pick in the 2009 draft, who the clippers kept stashed like a top secret UFO project, ( we will call him, Area 32 ). In the other conference we have the flash himself, in the mold of a Rose/Westbrook/Rando point guard ...

Carmelo Anthony is one of the leagues top players, he is only 26 years old and is already has 7 seasons under his belt. He is already a 3-Time All-Star and one of the best scorers in the game right now. He is also the reason why the Denver Nuggets are even relevant in the NBA western conference, well coming off back to back disappointing playoffs has led to Melo re-thinking his career in Denver.

With the NBA pre-season kicking off this week, I saw a beautiful picture being painted, featuring such artists as John Wall, LeBron James, and Amare Stoudemire. We all saw John Wall’s grace and leadership on display yesterday, we saw Amare throw down beautiful dunks with force that hasn’t been seen in a couple of years, we even saw the Picasso of basketball throw no look passes to Chris Bosh, while destroying what was once a defensive powerhouse team in Detroit.
