MMA's Future in Ontario Set

After what seemed like years of fist-to-face controversy and political backlash, mixed martial arts has finally gotten the go ahead from Ontario political officials.

The provincial government released this past Saturday that it will allow sanctioned events to take place under the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts. These are the same rules used by promotions across North America since 2000.
