Strikeforce: St.Louis

Just in case you were wondering if you’d get to see current Strikeforce Heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem fight again before the end of this decade, you can keep waiting.

In a press release issued today, Strikeforce announced it’s most recent addition to what is sizing up to be quite an interesting year ender. Stikeforce: St.Louis will feature a rematch between Dan Henderson and Renato Sobral, UFC exile Paul Daley is making his promotional debut against the Rocky of MMA, Scott Smith, and then of course there’s Herschel “I think I’m MMa’s George Foreman” Walker.

The key matchup to look out for of course is that of Alistair Overeem’s brother Valentijn to the cage against Antonio “Big Foot” Silva. The former Elite XC champ has been calling out many of the top heavyweights in the organization to no avail, but maybe this matchup will serve as just the stepping stone needed to get to little brother, Alistair.
