After walking out on his team in a game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Milton Bradley apparently has asked the Seattle Mariners to help him deal with "emotional stress", according to manager Don Wakamatsu.
Wakamatsu and general manager Jack Zduriencik said Wednesday that the controversial Bradley would be out indefinitely until he could receive some outside help to address his issues.
In his first action for the Seattle Mariners since returning from the disabled list, Cliff Lee once again proved he is currently one of the best pitchers in baseball.
On Monday, the Philadelphia Phillies announced they were giving power hitting first baseman Ryan Howard a five year contract extension for $125 million. That equals out to about $25 million per season.
