Overrated Manager Is Finally Calling It A Career

There is a wide array of opinions about just how important major league baseball managers really are. Some would say a manager is highly important and yet others would argue that anyone could do the job.

When a managerial search is going on it could be headline news or a back page blurb, depending on which team it is. For example, the Chicago Cubs are currently going through a managerial search and there have been countless articles written about who it might be or which guy ...

This year, the Nationals had to negotiate with Boras again right to the last minute to sign #1 overall draft pick Bryce Harper. These last- minute negotiations must be getting to seem like old hat for the Nationals.

Just as the midnight deadline was approaching, the two sides were able to come to an agreement on a 5 year, $9.9 million deal for the 17 year old Harper.
